Zetta, a cloud storage provider, introduced the Enterprise cloud storage provider Zetta today announced the availability of Zetta Data Protect for Linux and the beta version of ZettaMirror, the client side agent for Zetta Data Protect. ZettaMirror 2.5 includes transport deduplication, which offers performance increases.

Zetta Data Protect replicates and protects data offsite. Until now available for Windows, Zetta Data Protect now works on RedHat, CentOS, Debian, Ubuntu, and SUSE Linux.

ZettaMirror 2.5 is available as a free upgrade to existing customers and includes deduplication, sub-file ifference detection and the ability to automatically eclude data from syncs via filtering by date range, size range, or specific directories and file paths.
