Druva announced Tuesday that its inSync data protection product has been enhanced with the Advanced Data Insights add-in, which provides increased visibility into all data stored and shared across all endpoints. Druva’s inSync is an extensive WAN-optimized data protection product for laptop backup, which provides secure data access from web browsers, tablets and smart phones. The product provides continuous data protection, deduplication and global synchronization of data from all end points.

The enhancement includes features that enable e-discovery, provides control of enterprise data, improves resource planning and provides better management of data on mobile devices. Advanced metadata search across profiles and users provides reporting on enterprise data on mobile devices. The add-in includes dashboards and report filters and provides configurable email alerts. Also, an API exists for integration into other data reporting platforms. Data is summarized by number and size of files, and is broken out by file-type installables, image files, emails, media and documents.

Advanced Data Insights is available now for inSync customers at no additional cost.
