Primary Data on Tuesday announced new metadata features for its DataSphere platform that allow customers to automate the flow of data for scale-out NAS performance across both on-premises and in-the cloud storage.
New features include the automated management of billions of files, support for Dell EMC Isilon and NetApp ONTAP, direct interfaces for Amazon S3 and other S3 compatible cloud platforms, support for Windows, Linux and Mac environments and non-disruptive failover and volume retrieval.
In addition, customers are able to offload cloning from clients, view hot files and performance graphs, and receive faster performance with advanced metadata algorithm intelligence.
The new version of DataSphere is now available.
