Veeam at its annual user conference VeeamON 2017 in New Orleans last week announced a raft of updates to its Always-On Availability software.

The company announced Veeam Availability Suite v10, which now supports physical servers and network attached storage. The software also introduces Veeam CDP (continuous data protection), which provides continuous replication to private or managed clouds.

In addition, Veeam Availability Suite 10 now supports object storage, Amazon S3, Amazon Glacier, Microsoft Azure Blob and S3/Swift compatible storage.

Further, Veeam announced Veeam Availability for AWS and the Veeam Agent for Microsoft Windows. Veeam Availability for AWS provides protection and recovery of AWS applications. The Veeam Agent provides protection for endpoint workstations, Windows physical servers and Windows workloads running in Microsoft Azure, AWS and other clouds.
